Events at The Craigie

The Craigie is a great choice for any event: from birthdays and weddings to anniversaries or funerals. Our beautiful Pentland suite – with a maximum capacity of 150 guests – is the perfect place for a wide variety of occasions, and our other facilities, including our refurbished bedrooms, restaurant, bar, and grounds, plus the experience and expertise of our staff, all combine to make this a fantastic venue.

PENTLAND SUITE

Outstanding, modern function facilities, impeccable service, experienced and knowledgeable staff, wonderful dining, beautiful surroundings – The Craigie is well set up to host a wide range of events and occasions, from birthdays and anniversaries to funerals and charity events. We are also suitable for hosting meetings, exhibitions or workshops, with its large overhead projector, sound system and breakout spaces available.

THE GARDEN POD

For an informal events space with a difference why not host your event in our garden pod ? Tucked away in the corner of our leafy gardens, the pod is the perfect party pad for up to 30 people. With its own cocktail bar and bifold doors out onto the heated veranda, it’s hard to find a more bijou spot in Midlothian for a small get together ! Whether it’s a milestone birthday party, a baby shower or just an excuse for some celebratory drinks, we got it covered. The pod is also a quiet space for small boardroom meetings, presentations or informal networking events.

FUNERAL CATERING

The Craigie combines superb facilities with a professional service to provide a respectful reception that can be tailored to suit your needs. There are two event spaces available and several catering options. No matter how intimate, or large, the occasion may be, we are experienced in making all the necessary arrangements.
